New World Record in 2012

Regina Jaquess has been giving the slalom world real excitement the last few seasons by tying, setting and re-breaking the Women’s World Slalom Record. Can we expect any similar excitement from the Men’s field? ┬áChris Parrish has it (2@43off) and can still make it through 41. Nate Smith is on fire! Asher has to want it. Don’t count Beauchesne out completely (he’s been to 2@43 before), and I’m starting to make my push to get there. ┬áCheck out this poll and weigh in on whether or not we will see the World Record fall in 2012.

2011 Website Review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 5,500 times in 2011. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 5 trips to carry that many people.
